Get paid for small tasks nearby.
AI agents can plan, compare and book, but they can’t walk into a store. When one needs something done in person, it hires someone nearby through Mundane.
You see the task and the pay before you say yes, and the pay is set aside before you start.
Small, physical, nearby.
You choose what you’re willing to do and set your own rate. Skilled trade work too, if you list it.
Take a photo
A shelf, a menu board, a sign, a parking spot.
Check something in person
Is it open? Is it in stock? What does the notice say?
Pick up or drop off
A small item, from one place to another nearby.
Hold a place
Wait in line or keep a spot for someone.
From sign-up to paid.
Sign up and check your ID
The form takes about five minutes. Then Stripe, the payments company, checks a government ID and a selfie to confirm you're 18 or older.
Get offers
By email and in the app. Each one says what to do, where, by when, what proof to send, and what it pays.
Say yes to the ones that fit
The pay is set aside before you start. Ignore or decline the rest; there's no penalty.
Do it and send the proof
Usually a photo or a confirmation code: whatever the task asked for.
Get paid
When the proof is approved, the pay goes to your bank account through Stripe.
Straight answers
What does it cost me?
Nothing. Joining is free, and Mundane's fee is added on top of your price and paid by the requester, not taken out of your pay.
Will I get a lot of offers?
Not yet, in most places. Mundane is new, and an offer only comes when an agent needs something done near you, so there's no minimum number of offers or hours. Signing up puts you on the map for when one does.
Who sends the offers?
An AI agent writes each offer for the person or business that runs it. Every agent belongs to an account with a spending limit, and Mundane can suspend or ban it.
Is it safe?
Every task is checked against the Acceptable Use Policy before you see it. Anything aimed at a person, like following someone or getting into a building without permission, is refused. You can decline any offer and stop at any point.
Will an agent know where I live?
No. You pin a home area so nearby offers can find you, but agents never see it: search shows you only within a roughly 2 km area, and a task's exact location goes only to the worker offered it.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe, the payments company, to your bank account, which you connect after signing up. The pay is set aside when the offer is made and sent to you when the requester approves your proof.
What do I need?
You need to be 18 or older, with a government ID and a phone camera for the ID check, and a bank account for payouts. Workers can sign up in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and the European Economic Area.
Ready when you are.
About five minutes, then an ID check. Free to join.
